Webinar: Gender-based violence and COVID-19 - Emerging solutions in justice programming

IDLO is hosting a webinar that will focus on GBV-specific justice responses in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath and aims to catalyze exchange and learning from global and national experts on lessons, entry points and emerging solutions available to ensure access to justice for GBV survivors.

Key issues to be discussed:

  • Main challenges to the justice sector in delivering a survivor-centered response to GBV during COVID-19
  • Innovative emergency solutions to protect survivors of GBV during the COVID-19 containment measures, especially their ability to access justice and related protection and support services
  • Good practices and approaches for justice sector programming to prevent and respond to gender-based violence against women and girls during the COVID-19 outbreak
