SVRI honours the life of Prof June Pagaduan-Lopez

The SVRI is deeply saddened to say farewell to a dear colleague and advisor.
As a psychiatrist June worked with victims of torture and was a tireless advocate for the human rights of torture victims. We would also like to highlight her efforts to transform the health service for survivors of gender-based violence.

The SVRI is deeply saddened to say farewell to a dear colleague and advisor. All of June’s work was outstanding. As a psychiatrist June worked with victims of torture and was a tireless advocate for the human rights of torture victims. We would also like to highlight her efforts to transform the health service for survivors of gender-based violence. 

Thank you for your service to the field of violence against women and mental health. We have lost a leader, a guide and torchbearer – always shining a light on injustice – working to change the world for the better. Our deepest condolences to your family and loved ones.
